These Terms of Usage define the acceptable use of Tringify's platform, APIs, and related services. By using Tringify, you agree to abide by these policies in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Tringify's platform and services only for lawful commercial purposes. Your use must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by employees, contractors, or any third parties you authorize to access your store.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Tringify to sell products or services that are illegal in the jurisdictions where you operate or where your customers reside. This includes but is not limited to counterfeit goods, stolen property, and items that infringe on intellectual property rights.
You may not engage in fraudulent activity, including creating fake orders, manipulating reviews, or misrepresenting products. Accounts found engaging in fraud will be terminated immediately.
You may not use the platform to distribute malware, phishing schemes, spam, or any content designed to harm, deceive, or exploit users.
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any part of the Tringify platform, APIs, or related services.
3. Prohibited Products
The following categories of products and services are prohibited on Tringify: illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, weapons and explosives, human trafficking or exploitation, child exploitation material, and any goods subject to trade sanctions or embargoes.
Regulated products such as alcohol, tobacco, firearms (where legal), pharmaceuticals, and CBD products require prior approval from Tringify. Contact compliance@tringify.com to request approval before listing regulated items.
Tringify reserves the right to update the list of prohibited products at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of changes that affect your current product listings.
4. API & Developer Usage
Access to Tringify's APIs is subject to rate limits as documented at docs.tringify.com. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent throttling of your API access.
You may not use the API to scrape data, build competing products, or redistribute Tringify data without prior written consent. API keys are non-transferable and must be kept confidential.
Apps submitted to the Tringify App Store must comply with our App Developer Guidelines. Apps that violate these guidelines will be removed and the developer account may be suspended.
5. Resource Usage
Each plan includes specific resource allocations for bandwidth, storage, API calls, and email sends. Usage beyond your plan's allocation may result in additional charges or temporary service limitations.
You may not use Tringify as a general-purpose hosting platform. Storage should be used for assets directly related to your online store operations.
Automated scripts, bots, or processes that place excessive load on our infrastructure may be throttled or blocked without prior notice.
6. Content Standards
All content published through your Tringify store must be accurate and not misleading. Product descriptions, images, and pricing must truthfully represent what the customer will receive.
You retain ownership of your content but grant Tringify a license to host, display, and distribute it as necessary to provide our services. You represent that you have the rights to all content you upload.
Tringify may remove content that violates these terms, applicable laws, or that we determine in our sole discretion to be harmful or inappropriate.
7. Security Obligations
You must maintain reasonable security practices to protect your account and your customers' data. This includes using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and keeping your contact information up to date.
You must promptly notify Tringify at security@tringify.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account or any security vulnerability in our platform.
You are responsible for the security of any third-party integrations, apps, or custom code you add to your store.
8. Enforcement
Tringify monitors platform usage to ensure compliance with these terms. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
If your account is suspended, you will be given an opportunity to remedy the violation within a reasonable timeframe, except in cases of severe violations where immediate termination is warranted.
You may appeal enforcement actions by contacting compliance@tringify.com within 14 days of receiving notice.
9. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of another merchant violating these Terms of Usage, please report it to abuse@tringify.com. All reports are reviewed confidentially.
